The staff is lovely, the breakfast traditional, the location is brilliant right by Harajuku, two subway stations and a mini van service to 目黑 station, and the airport. The main bar is good, thoroughly enjoyed this place.

Location is perfect for sightseeing. There is a free shuttle bus to and fro Meguro station as well as Shinagawa station where you can take the Shinkansen trains to other cities. What makes this hotel so special, and Japan in general, is the people. Over-polite, friendly, helpful and heart-warming. We think that the whole world should look up to this great nation. Arigato gosaimas Nippon! We will come back for sure.

The hotel is a style classic -- a tiny bit worn but still groovily elegant. Excellent concierge service. Easy access to a couple of stations. Plenty of bars, restaurants and food shops within 20 mins walk or just 5 mins on hotel shuttle. Beautiful garden beside hotel.
High food and drink prices. The dreary staff uniforms could do with a revamp.

Consider visiting the Bamboo Lounge for a unique cocktail experience, but be prepared for the higher prices on drinks.

Exceptional service, fantastic city location, walking distance to many attractions, close to transit station, direct bus to Narita airport.
The food/drinks in the hotel restaurants were pricy and not exceptionally good, especially given the ease of finding very reasonably priced and delicious food on almost every block.

easy access to parks and famous landmarks for weekend strolls
I loved how close this hotel is to Happoen Garden, just a short 500 meters away, and it's only about 2 km to the iconic Tokyo Tower. The staff were really friendly and helped me find great walking routes every day.

big rooms, and away from all the shibuya messyness. i liked their free shuttle service to meguro station, and the staff was very nice. free wifi was also a plus...something you rarely get at an spg property. if you get this hotel for a good price its def. worth checking out. also, make sure to ask for one of their newly renovated rooms.

This was by far the biggest and most luxurious room we stayed in Japan. Very nicely appointed and with a fantastic view of the trees and skyscrapers in the distance through the floor to ceiling window - usually you get a view of a concrete wall or a bank of air conditioning units. We got a great deal for the last 3 nights of our holiday. Ordinarily it would have been too expensive, so a great end to a great trip.
Expensive to eat at the hotel restaurants.
